In order to protect the income of coffee families from the fall in the price of coffee, the Federation of Coffee Growers with resources from the National Government launches the Government Incentive for Coffee Equity IGEC 2019.
This program begins to apply from April 5 until December 31, 2019 or until resources are exhausted: whichever comes first.
What is it?
It is an economic incentive of up to 30 thousand pesos per load of 125 kilos of parchment coffee, which is activated when the internal reference price published by the Federation is below 715 thousand pesos.

What are the conditions to receive the IGEC 2019?
- Be registered in the Coffee Information System (SICA) as of December 31, 2018

The incentive will be received by the producers through their Smart Card or Coffee Card or by bank transfer.
